Arizona Rollover Car Accident Leaves Teen Dead, Brother Injured

Early Sunday morning in Eloy, Arizona, a rollover single-car accident involving two teen brothers resulted in the death of one of them, and the hospitalization of the other.

Eloy Police Department officials have reported that at around 1:00 a.m. that morning, they responded to a call reporting a crash near Alsdorf and Estrella roads and found that a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo that had rolled over in a single-vehicle car wreck.

Police have indicated that the Aveo, being driven by a 17-year-old male from Eloy, was heading south on Estrella with his 14-year-old brother as his passenger, when he lost control of the vehicle, causing to the devasting rollover accident.

Both brothers were ejected from the vehicle.

The 14-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene, and the 17-year-old was transported by air to a Phoenix area hospital with serious, but reportedly non-life threatening injuries.

It has been confirmed that both of them had not been wearing their safety restraints at the time of the accident.

Police have indicated that will have a thorough investigation to try to piece together exactly what happened to cause this tragic scene.
