On Sunday, a teenage driver and a young child lost their lives in a violent car accident in northwest Arizona.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials stated that the accident occured at about 6:58 p.m. on Arizona Route 68 in Golden Valley when the driver of a 1998 Ford pickup truck, 19-year-old Dylan Ray Tyrell Bielke, lost control of his vehicle. He swerved into the oncoming westbound traffic and collided with a pickup truck that was pulling a trailer behind it.
The Ford caught on fire and was engulfed in flames as it propelled from the highway and into a roadside ditch.
The Kingman resident Bielke, along with his 3-year-old passenger, Colton Hagemire of Bullhead City, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that crashed with the Ford was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The driver has since been released.
Route 68 to Golden Valley, Arizona is a notoriously dangerous road to cross. There are many crosses, flowers, and other symbols from those who have lost loved ones as the result of fatal accidents on this highway.
There is no further information at this time and officials have informed that the investigation is ongoing as to what caused this accident.
As a Phoenix car accident lawyer, it is always so diffiult to hear a sad story such as this. A car wreck that takes the lives of such young individuals is just about as terrible as it gets.
Working for many years at a Car accident law firm in Phoenix, you see that there are certain roadways that are, again and again, the platform for serious and fatal crashes. They have become known and avoided for this reason.
Our thoughts go out to those family members, loved ones, and friends of both victims in this accident.

Dylan and Colton were loved by many and will be missed by all. Their mom is a great beautiful soul that has had the worst tragedy hit her. As her being my long time friend and knowing Dylan since he was 4, this is heart breaking. I ask please tomorrow while the services are taking place that everyone take a moment and pray for Kelly and her other 3 kids.

His father Patrick Hagemyer and family are also very much in need of prayers. This was a tragic accident and only God can get us through this.
