It has been reported that on Friday, three individuals were badly injured, following what has been called a serious truck against car accident in west Phoenix.

According to Lisa Jones, a Phoenix Fire Department spokesman, at around 2:30 P.M. last Friday afternoon, near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road, a car that was carrying five people, collided with a truck with a single occupant, causing a violent collision. She said that the accident, inflicted severe injuries upon three people. These victims had to be pulled from their car by members of Phoenix Fire Department and immediately transported to a nearby hospital. Jones indicated that they were being listed as in critical condition. 

Authorities further state that the driver of the truck, as well as the two remaining car members and accident victims were treated at the scene by Phoenix F.D. officials for their non-life threatening injuries.

The force of the collision was thought of to be quite destructive. Fire department officials have described the damage as "significant to both vehicles", but did not give any further information at the time.

Why did this accident occur? Who was at fault? There is not much more information to be had and the details of how and why the accident occured are interesting to me as a Phoenix car accident attorney.
